Teacher, Lead Educator – Heather (she/her)
Heather holds a Bachelor degree in Early Childhood, as well as a Masters degree in Special Education. It is her experience as a mother of children with “extra sparkles” that she claims as her most significant teachings.
Heather is known for her large toothy smile and her big hugs. She can often be seen with a “helper” in need of a little extra comfort or reading a book with a couch full of eager listeners. Heather loves reading, singing and dancing with the children. She has a love for the outdoors, and enjoys getting into the garden with the little ones. Heather brings with her a passion for sustainability and the World around us. She enjoys teaching and celebrating the connections the children have with the communities in which they live.
Teacher, Nominated Supervisor – Meg (she/her)
Meg holds a Bachelor in Arts (Media and Communication) and a Graduate Diploma in Education (Early Childhood). Her favourite element of working with children is establishing and forging a strong relationship with them; progressing through different stages of their learning and watching and celebrating significant milestones together. She lives for the ‘lightbulb moments’ and believes as teachers we have the best job in our capacity to play a significant role in shaping a child’s future, for they are the future.
Meg is a Knox local and in her spare time she enjoys getting out into nature, traveling and spending time with her husband and two young children.
